My Turn To Put The Record Straight …
Stephen Pollard has very kindly taken time from his Bank Holiday Sunday to reply to my post. This is what he says:
“I’m sorry you have reacted angrily to the leader.
I assure you that we would equally heavily attack a Conservative leader who acted as has Mr Brown, in - we believe - using a visit to Auschwitz to detrect from domestic difficulties.
As for my own politics: not that it should have any relevance, but I have voted Labour in every general election since I was 18 and spent all my career in political life (before becoming a journalist) working to achieve a Labour government, both directly for the Labour Party and independently. So I am afraid you are completely wrong in the foundation of your argument”.
So I’m not always absolutely right after all …!
